This wine harmoniously combines 90% Mencía with 10% of other varietals, including Palomino, Doña Blanca, and Alicante Bouschet, sourced from several parcels with vines averaging over 50 years in age. The vineyards are organically farmed, reflecting the family's commitment to sustainable viticulture. Fermentation involves 50% whole clusters with indigenous yeasts, and the wine matures for ten months in clay amphorae, resulting in a pure expression of the Bierzo terroir.
